Virtually New Boxed Marlin 1894 Lever-Action Rifle
From Bankrupt stock auction in American Mid-west. Boxed in its original shipping box, one Model 1894 lever action rifle in .44 Mag’ or SPL. Of very recent production with all the latest markings. Serial number “MR83036E” on lower LHS of action. Marlins’ side opening bolt system with cross hammer safety. Also fitted with extended thumb piece on the hammer. The rifle measures 37.5/8″ the round blued barrel is 20.1/4″ long and the trigger pull is 13.3/4″ to the centre. Full length tubular magazine under barrel.
Completely of factory specification with American Walnut stock, straight gripped with checkering to grip and fore-end. Factory finished stock with rubber butt-pad fitted with cowboy logo in centre. The barrel is marked on the LHS just next to the buck-horn rear sight as follows; ” THE MARLINFIREARMS CO. ILION. NEW YORK. U.S.A. / MODEL 1894 – CAL. 44 REM. OR .44 SPL.”
As new, factory bluing finish all over with matt finish to action top which will reduce glare while sighting. Drilled for fitting of scope mounting system with blanking screws still in position. Sprung loading gate on RHS below bolt ejection port. Clean bore with Non micro-groove rifling. Action smooth. Slight scuffing to front sight block on the RHS just below the sight hood. Very light colour loss to fore-end top surface on RHS side – barely noticeable. UK proofed.
One virtually New M1894 ready to use straight away.
