Pattern 1854 British Army Officers Sword no scabbard .
An 1854 pattern British Army Sword with pierced brass hilt – guilt absent. Plain curved blade with single fuller and spera point. The blade is bright but with some pitting all over. From hilt to point it measures 29″ and has a single edge for most of its length. The guard carries the royal cypher for Victoria. The grip is worn with some of the wire wrapping loose or missing. The shargreen is intact. Stepped brass pommel and backstrap. Guard pierced for knot.
