Classic Winchester Model 94AE Saddle Ring Carbine

In fine condition with the benefit of a little fine tuning to perfect the original item to superbly useful and accurate condition.  Chambered in the desirable .357 Magnum.  Model 1894 “Angle Eject” which means the weapon will take a scope mounted over the action without inhibiting the ejection of the used cases.  The serial number “6522292” stamped on the underside of the action clearly legible.  This carbine is 38″ in overall length.  The round blued barrel is 20″ with full length tube magazine under.  Trigger Pull to center is 13.1/2″.

Saddle ring mounted on the LHS of the action.  Bluing over the action, barrel, magazine tube etc all in excellent condition.  High gloss finish to stock and fore-end.  Cross-hammer safety removed by owner and tang safety installed (untested) Lower tang “Closed lever” safety A/F.   Blued loading gate on RHS of action.  Two barrel bands.  Winchester trade logo marked on hard plastic flat butt-plate.  Winchester Proof logo on crest of barrel in front of receiver.  After-market traditional rear sight fitted.  On the top side of the action, towards the rear, a Williams Peep sight has been removed and the blanking screws have not been refitted, so there are two vacant holes which would easily be attended to with the correct screws.

The LHS of the barrel marked as follows;- “WINCHESTER  MODEL 94 AE  CAL .357  MAG /  — MADE IN NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A.  WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL —”   The top RHS side marked “—- WINCHESTER —- /  TRADEMARK LICENSED FROM OLIN CORP ”   Serrated thumb-piece to hammer, ( vacant hole for cross hammer safety )  Six-groove LH twist rifling, no pitting or corrosion.

A classic Winchester in desirable Carbine form also in a desirable calibre.
