High Quality Remington Reproduction M 1858 Revolver
Pre-owned but shot literally 5 times then fallen out of love with. I can see no signs of usage – this is quite a novelty for me, I am used to looking at guns right at the other end of their lives. This ones a wee bairn! The owner openly admits he made a mistake and just wants to move it on. It has been well cleaned and to all intents and purposes this is a new gun. That is apart from the price. It is exactly as described by all the big suppliers but apparently quite a special revolver, this is what they say about it:- “Pedersoli Remington Pattern Target 7 1/2” Barrel Black Powder Revolver 44cal.
Manufactured to a very high standard. Features none reflecting finish on cylinder, barrel and frame. Fixed rear sight, front adjustable by dovetail. Walnut grips. Barrel length 7 1/2inches (190mm), overall length 340mm and weight 1.3kg. The materials used are of the best quality, enhancing the ballistic characteristics of the barrel, of the cylinder and of the trigger set mechanism. The gun has been expressly customized by our crafts-workers and shooters, with the purpose to give the gun a good functionality with the very first use. The non-reflecting barrel, the anti-wear cylinder and the rifling twist have been designed to give the shooter the best chance.”
Cant really add much to that! except the cylinder rotates freely. There are no drag marks on the polished cylinder band. Very comfortable trigger release even though it is infinitely adjustable. Offered in all its original packaging, with a spare set of grips within the box. The CD that comes with it and full instructions.
This is a chance to pick up a nearly brand new item at a vastly reduced price.
