Fine Nickle Finish Remington M 1858 Revolver

Excellent condition (used) nickle finish Remington 1858 Percussion revolver.  Chambered in .44 with six chambers.   Walnut grips and brass trigger guard.

Serial number 246782.  8″ Octagonal barrel with loading lever under,  full frame revolver.  Adjustable target sights.

LHS of barrel marked “BLACK POWDER ONLY .44 CAL.  RHS of frame with CIP Italian proof marks.  The RHS of the barrel marked; “FAP” within diamond boarder. “F.LLI PIETTA – MADE IN ITALY”

Close grained walnut grips.  Mechanically fine with correct timing and lock up. Very clean chambers and barrel – no pitting – strong uninterrupted rifling. Hammer being plain steel shows some staining from use.
