No 4 Mk II Spike Bayonet, Scabbard and Frog by Long Branch of Canada.  8″ Spike.  Webbing frog marked on the reverse dated 1944.       £ 35.

Pattern 1907  by WILKINSON with Black Leather Scabbard.  Good wooden grips both with inspection stamps.  Sprung catch functioning.  Scabbard fitting painted black.  Crown GR cypher marked with issue dates  (possibly 6 / 18) 17″ Blade.  Single edge & fuller Point good. WD arrows and Enfield inspection marks and “bend test” “X” mark.  A good WW 1 SMLE bayonet.  £ 175.

Pattern 1888 Bayonet. Long Lee or Lee-Metford Bayonet  12″ double edged blade with good point.  OAL 16.5/8″.  Wooden grips, brass rivets.  Broad Arrow “WD” and “X” marked. Crowned Enfield inspection marks on spine. On the obverse “V.R.” cypher, / 6 02″  Black leather scabbard intact but feels slightly short.  Ricasso exposed when sheathed by 1/8″. Hilt marked “393.”  £ 245.

Pattern 1907 SMLE Bayonet & Scabbard.  OAL 21.5/8″.  Single edged, fullerd, blacked blade 16.1/2″ long. Wooden grips marked “SLAZ44”. Metal spine between grips with crows foot marking and “R – 57”.  Ricasso marked with bend test “X” and Broad Arrow marking. Heavily Blacked blade.  Attachment catch mechanically functioning.  Black leather scabbard with round frog stud.  Marked “OA” Many inspection marks on rear left of stitching which is intact. £ 145.

Wooden grips.  Ricasso marked with bend test “X” and Broad Arrow marking and “OA”.  The obverse marked “1907 / 1 / 5  44.”  Black leather scabbard with tear drop frog stud.  The top of the scabbard marked “D 2/broad arrow D. ” 17.3/4″ long. £ 135.

Pattern 13 Mk I Sword Bayonet. For the Pattern 14 Rifle.  21.3/4″ OAL   Blade 17″ Single edged with fuller. Ricasso marked “1913 / 5  17 ” Then within a roundel “REMINGTON” On the reverse Crows Foot and Enfield inspectors mark with “X” mark and others.  Twin horizontal grooves in both grips.  Pommel sprung catch fine.  In steel mounted green leather scabbard with hanging hook for belt.  Stitching excellent and intact. Scabbard 17.3/4″ long.  £ 160.

Type 30 Bayonet, Steel Scabbard and leather Frog. Overall length 20.1/4″ the blade 15.5/8″ long with single edge and fuller.  The ricasso marked with the two marks for Toyada Automatic Loom Works – the manufacturers, pressed into service for the war effort.  Hooked Quillion and cross guard.  Wooden grips with dual fixings.  Birds-head pommel with fully functioning sprung catch.  Superb aged leather frog fully intact.  Steel scabbard in excellent condition with functioning internal springs. £ 225.

German K98 Bayonet and steel scabbard.  Early war with wooden grips. OAL 15″  Single edge blade 9.3/4″ Single fuller.  The manufacturers code of “S/174G” for Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie. (WKC), Solingen. On the obverse is a serial number “8072 e”.  77 Waffenamts on the pommel.  Functioning latch.  Blade browned.  Black steel scabbard.  OAL of Bayonet in scabbard 16″. £ 195.

Late War German K98 Bayonet with Bakelite grips. Of standard dimensions being 15.1/8″ in overall length. Superb blued blade of a nominal 10″.  Single edge with fuller.  Good point.  Ricasso marked with makers name “Coppel Gm.b.H.” The obverse having the serial number “4499/d”.  Twin Waffenamts on the pommel.  Black steel scabbard marked with makers name “BERG & Co / 1940” on the other side a serial number of “3338/c”  “40” on the spine at the hilt.  £ 185.
