Swedish Wild-Heerbrugg Rangefinder

Excellent Swedish Rangefinder

Military Green paint applied to majority of the Rangefinder, its tripod, accessories and carrying case. Superbly fitted brown leather fitting around the tube etc. Generally in very good fully functioning condition with excellent optics.  All accessories attached to the kit by standard quality leather straps and carrying cases.

The Swiss company Wild Heerbrugg sold these to Sweden and other European countries including Germany, who used them during WW II. A plate attached to the optic reads; “80cm a- instr / m/41 / Nr 621 / Wild Heerbrugg F=12x”

An interesting addition to your Swedish Mauser.  Tripod and tube stand 110cm tall.  There is a small  tripod which can be used alone and stores in the holster shaped leather work, this allows adjustment to level by a ball fixing.  The tube is  920cm wide.  Wooden handles allow the operator to “aim” the device.  The aluminium carry case is  93cm long when fully loaded with all the equipment.  Contained is a leather covered case with lenses and a soft lens brush

When using the instrument the image is split and you have to realign to get the range, which is read of a dial and through one of the eye pieces.

No License Required ! Makes a perfect study or front room ornamental piece… and a bit of fun to boot.  You can work out the exact distance you would need to dial in if you wanted to drop artillery in on those annoying people who are ruining your view !!!

£ 695.
