Vintage Webley & Scott Junior Air Rifle
In original untouched condition a break barrel Webley Junior Air Rifle in .177 calibre. Good stock fine blueing. Fully functioning. Superb little air rifle measuring 36.1/2″ in total length. The round barrel is 14″ long and the trigger pull is 13.3/4″ to centre.
Strong original colours remain over the entirety of the metal parts. The slim beech stock is stained and finished in its original high gloss lacquer. Steel trigger guard and trigger. Mechanically fine with spotless rifled bore. Simple open sights with bead front sight.
The top of the cylinder is marked as follows; ” THE / Webley / -JUNIOR- / WEBLEY & SCOTT / BIRMINGHAM / MADE IN ENGLAND” Markings are clear – little edge wear. A superb first boys gun for many of us from days gone by – when life was a little more simple!
