This is the perfect rifle for the Dad that wants to take his under ten year old shooting. A very good scaled down Model 91-30 Mosin-Nagant Infantry Rifle, a homage to the standard issue rifle used by Soviet forces for the last century. Chambered in .22 LR with a single shot bolt action mechanism. Perfect for the little lad (or Lady) to go to the range and shoot one of Daddy’s rifles. Simple to operate with the extra feature of a second position cock for safety, all the basic principles can be established on this pintsized version of the real thing. However this is NOT a genuine military trainer, as the category suggests – this just seems like the most logical place on the web-site to put it.
Very fine single piece walnut stock with handguard, finger grooved forend, undamaged as rifle is new. Overall length 33.5/8″ long. Round blacked barrel with round receiver is 20″ long. The trigger Pull is 11.1/2″ to centre. Simple rear sight, single post within a ring front sight.
